trouble finding exact options?
hello all.
im in the market for an audi. Im having a really hard time deciding/finding options i want. ive spent probably 25 hours in the last two weeks on autotrader, cars.com and everything else, including some test drives at a local dealer.
Im pretty much set on a manual.it has to have all the prestige package options. I really want drive select, but the dealer showed me theres only 3 in the country with all the options and drive select.
I drove a 2012 prestige s-line +, 6 spd at a local dealer. and i really enjoyed it. then i drove a 6spd A5 WITH drive select, and it was wonderful.
so i guess my question is..... should i just forget about the handling upgrades and just find a normal prestige package? settle for an s-line, without having any comfort setting for long cruises, or stick it out and find a Drive Select?
to further complicate things, it has to be black. AND i really want to find a lightly used one to offset some intial cost and depreciation from new
thanks

well what are you looking for in the car? i chose to get the sports package instead of the drive select because i want to feel the road every bit of the way. plus i will be modding so drive select will be useless anyways.
Special order. You will get exactly what you want and you won't have to deal with the inevitable dealer trade story of how the dealer with the car you've already compromised on won't trade it away to your dealer. Also...if you are considering a $50k A4.... You might want to consider taking the step up to the S4 if the driving experience is truly what you are looking for.
Prestige A4 with S-Line Titanium package and drive select is about $49k....an S4 premium plus with nav, B&O, push button start, is around $51.5k.."for an extra $2.5k you can so much more car and you'll have a blast driving it. Plus, by not going with the prestige you aren't really missing out on anything if you were to package it the way I stated above. Also if it is a used one you are looking for I would guess you find a few 2010 S4s that are 6-speeds with the prestige package and save yourself some dough and get a 6yr/100k warranty if it is a CPO!
