RE: Pricing on R8 seems to be Clear as Mud..
here's my guess....as the R8 suppose to be competing with Aston Martin V8 Vantage and Posrche 911(I would say Carrera S is on the same level as V8 Vantage since the new Turbo is too powerful for V8 Vantage)
1.if it's V8 version in Carrera S - V8 Vantage's price range...it should be no more than 120K Im guessing
2.V8 version should not be more expensive or even close to Gallardo's price....
I hope it will be mass produced so the price would come down a little....
im thinking that the starting price might be around 80-85K(or I hope)
anyways...hope it's in Carrera or Carrera S's price range so we all could have a better chance to afford one maybe

Since it is pretty much a watered down Gallardo, and they dont wanna steal sales from lambo's, I would be surprised if it based over 135ish. That price point would also put it squarely in the price range of the 911 and the aston v8.

From what I've read, it's true that Audi doesn't want to steal sales from the Gallardo. That's why the V10 will be slightly detuned, about 450bhp. If I was a betting man I'd say the price is going to be about the same as a Gallardo maybe only slightly less, just not quite as fast.
