Man those Coupe's are nice. Thanks for posting those teach. I saw a Coupe GTon the way into work the other day. It was a bit beat up, but seeing those older Audi's is so rare I always get excited when I spot one.

Sepp...Do youhave any pics of your Ur-Qyou can post?

I love all Audi's but I have a special place in my heart for anything pre '96 for some reason. Anything pre '90 is rare to find on the road out here I've found... andI'm insunny California where the weather tends to be good to your car!
Yeah, anything pre-'96 really get's my attention.
And any type 85, get's me pulling over to talk to the owner.

Here's a coupla piccy's of the ur Quatto. I've had it for almost 6 years, and it's been a continual project ever since.
It was also a daily driver up until this year.
My goal is to get the car to look as nice as Teachs coupe...that'll take a while.
The car looks great in the pics, but they are deceptive, and itwill be getting much needed new paint, as it's the cheapo-stuff I put on back when I first met Teach.

Sepp: Are you going to get a gun and paint the car yourself? You did a great job before...I wonder how much of a learning curve there would be with a gun.

Since you "euro-modded" your bumpers, have you given any though to trying to track down a Sport Q grille and headlights? I love that look, but it really has to go on something with bumpers that don't stick out a mile.

Is it just me, or does that car look meaner and more at home on a muddy gravel road? Great looking car dude.
As for the fenders, yes. I've found the wide body kits. They cost more than twice a CGT! I guess I'll have to wait and see how that goes. Of course it'd be sweet if I could find a CQ, but who's going to get rid of one that has one?

Teach, yes, I'll be using a proper gun, with actual real paint.
It'll be a heck of a lot easier to spray with, and with less over spray.

With the front end, I'll eventually be getting the european Hellas, and the slanted grille.
I'll save the quads for any future urQ's that mightcome my way, as they're in great shape.

Yes,

It's a fun getting the car dirty, as it is cleaning it.
This paticular day, the gravel on the streetswas loose, so it was easy to get the car to slide around a little bit.

Very cool. Thanks for the pics guys. Your cars look great!

I'll have to take some pics of my beater here and post them at some point. It's a '92 C4 100 S. I picked it up a few months back cheap and its my daily commuter. Only drawback is its not the CS which is Quattro, but I still love driving it. The grill pic in my sig is actually from my car. Like I said, previous owners neglected her!

I have a lot of work to do to it still. I had a bad cooling system leak when I got it and had to fix that. I plan on doing some major maintenance on it myself in the coming months to get her running even smoother (including timing belt) which sould be fun.

I'm not going to put a lot of money into this one other than to keep her running well on the road, but I will be looking to replace it with a B2 or B3 quattro if I can find a decent one a couple of years from now. If this one was quattro I'd probably put more into it, as the bigger car is nice for commuting on the freeway, but I like the smaller sportier feel of the B models for the fun of driving. Plus I love that 5 banger!

In the US, we never revceived the S2, or theRS2.
And with current regulations, you won't be aboe to import one into the country untill the car is over 25 years old.
So for the S2, you'll have to wait until the year 2015, and the RS2, 2017.

We did receive from 1982-1986 aproximately 460 Quattros.
Most likely 1/2 to 2/3rdsof them are still around.
You can get a nice one for around $10,000

Sounds like the pump.Mine did the same.Change the filter as well.
Here in the states, I would go with Blau parts, or Autohausaz.
