I have just purchased a 1986 Audi Quattro.
I want to get mnore power from the engine.

Any suggestions?

My advice to you, before you do anything make sure its in top running condition. Full scale tune up. Make sure she is 100% in top order.

*** for more power from your engine, theres lots of things you can do, and it really depends how much money you want to put, what type of car you want it to be, etc.

For a daily driver, i wouldnt do much other than an exhaust, and an intake, just to make it inhale and exhale.

Is your quattro is turbo?

 

Well there is a lot you can do and as posted above, make sure its in excellent running order first. You will want to go through the whole car...depending on its history (whether you have it) I would replace all the fluids. Is it a turbo? If you are in the US and you have an 86', its an extremely hard car to come by as only the 83-85 models were brought over.

Depending on whether its a turbo or not will change the basic mods you can make, let us know!

 

What is a good place to go to look for parts for these cars? I honestly cant find a site or a shop.

Any input ???
