Default 1988 Audi 90

Hi,

I am new to the boards. i have a 1988 audi 90. I am having some trouble with the speedometer. if i pressin the odometer reset a couple of times when i am driving the speedo works. Every now and then it just bounces. I was also wondering if there are any mods I could do to bump up the performance of my 90. I am new to German cars but I have had a wide range of domestics and imports. I have a race coming up soon and I am up against a 2001 Chevy Impala V6. It is stock. My car is stock right now but it sounds beefy because the exaust has a 1inch gap from the header cause the bolts rusted. I was also wondering if there were projector lights or sites to where I could pimp out the car a bit. Thank you for listening

You may have a bad speed sensor or a bad relay. listen for clicking under the steering wheel or in the glove box that's normally where the relays are for that sort of stuff are. As for performance mods, it depends what sort of setup you have, is it the 2.3N/A?

you should beat the impala with the car stock anyway
