Default 1989 Audi 200 10V - Need to find ACC tap for Radio

Can someone familiar with a 1989 Quattro suggest a good location to tap into for ACC that is near the radio?

The 200 doesnt come with 'switched' power for the Radio.

Hoping someone can help out.

Default Solved

I was able to solve this by using an ACC switched wire off the heated seat switch that sits right above the radio unit. Just tapped into it and works like a charm.

Also use of a multimeter let me use the rear amp to drive the speakers. Crutchfield makes a decent kit that isnt too expensive for a clean fit, but none of the actual pins lined up on my 89 Audi 200 Quattro. I figured out where things connect and the entire aftermaket Kenwood works great.

AND... For those interested, the XM radio SVX300 works fantastic as well with the antenna *inside* the car. You read that right....INSIDE the car sitting right where the front speaker grill is. Its metal ...meaning the magnetic antenna has a clear line of sight to the sky. )

Hope that helps others.
