Default 1991 audi 200

hey im looking into getting an 1991 200 quattro turbo and i have a few questions... i work at an audi (and others) body shop, so im familiar with newer audi's, but nothing this old. i just want an awd turbo car and this is cheap and classy

what is the 'name' for this year. like is it an a2? or what.

i heard BOV's were bad for audis. this past summer i had a sr20det in a 240sx so i know turbos and what not so it does not make practical sense why bovs are detrimental to an audi. also, what kind of boost can these handle. like my 240sx stock was 7psi, safe was 10 and 14 would cause damage after a while. yea i know engine condition and what not will effect this but what are the numbers here.

i looked around a while ago and i heard that a chip and exhaust system greatly helps the newer audi's. now with this being an older car will a chip help? do they even make them? where to buy?

what kind of turbos do these have and what kind of turbos are a direct bolt on. are they oil and water cooled?

any other info would be appreciated also...

lol, looks like an older tarus... i love it... haha

Nice car, fairly reliable. A rally version of the same engine put out 400 ~ 600bhp stock is 195. The turbo is water cooled.

Hey man, thats a sweet ride. The 91's were really fast performance cars back in the day. The only made it for one year too...you can tell the difference br the flares over the wheel arches and of course the engines....Intended Acceleration has a lot of upgrades for that car. Things from chips to suspension parts are available too. I would concentrate on making sure all the stock items are in top condition then mod away. You can get those to fly man!!!

A BOV is fine, but unneccessary...the noise is sweet though. I would recommend an upgraded chip and wastegate spring....
