Default 1994 Audi 80 Windows Losing Power

My front electric windows and sunroof are losing power intermittantly so i seem to have a bad or loose connection somewhere.

Anyone know the most likely cause of this?

There doesn't appear to be a fuse for these under the bonnet.

If it were a fuse the power would be off. I would begin checking the ground wires and consctors.

Thumbs up

I found out what the root cause was.

If you take off the shelf underneath the steering wheel there is a relay in a black box. I took the circuit board out this black box and checked the solder joints and there was indeed a dry joint. Resoldered the joint, reconnected everything and the windows/sunroof are working perfectly now.

Happy days

If anybody is having a similar problem it is worth having a look at this
