I was driving on the highway and my car just would lose power... I would press on the gas and it wouldn't get past 1000 rpm. After sitting for a little while I could drive it another 15 miles or so and it would lose power again. It also seems to be dripping a small amount of oil which I have just noticed. Just a couple drips everytime I would have to pull over. ( I drove the car about 100 miles before it started to die out and lose power on me)

When I start the car the check engine light comes on when I press the gas and then goes away once I take my foot off the gas. After a minute or two it does not do that anymore. It also will almost die if you try to drive it right away.. but letting it run for a few minutes seems to not have it do that.

I'm in a bind b/c I am 150 miles from home and no garages are open :/ or they are and they won't even look at it b/c it's an Audi.

Is there anything that I can do that will allow me to drive this thing back home so I can troubleshoot there?

Any input or help would be a great deal of help. I have to get home tomorrow and somehow get the car there also.
