Default 5000 Ignition Switch

Anyone have any ideas on removing an ignition switch out of my 1987 audi 5000 CD, its something ive never seen before.

It is a much smaller version then the other common audi ones (big black one with very spaced out priongs, and usually a purple harness) the one i have has a white backing, and i cant see anything to remove it. On top there is a small hole, so i thought it was held in with a set screw, but no small allen keys would fit.

Any ideas?

install a hidden switch somewhere , which would disable the push button start

I replaced my switch and it was easier then I thought. It took me about 30 minutes! I was thinking 2 hours! Just read the bently and gives you everything you need to know. Picking out the stuff for the little set screw took the longest to do.
