'88 5000 CS Quattro ignition coil help???
So this turd of an audi, my only form of transportation has been giving me all kinds of hell the past 6-7 months. Firstly the ignition coil went out, took me a while to figure out that problem, and i finally replaced it after spending about $200 on the coil. A month later my alternator goes out. About a week after that i had one CV axle go out. I had a problem getting the 12 point torx bolts out so i had to take it to a shop and spend $300+ on labor for that and a wheel bearing. Day after i get it back from the shop, the other CV went out. Finally got that replaced by myself, and less than a week later my ignition coil goes out again. The car has a brand new alternator and battery, no other electrical problems, and has driven less than 1000 miles since the new ignition coil.
Anyways, my question would be, what would be putting the ignition coil out? or did i just get a bad coil? After only getting a partial refund on it, very low funds, and a new ignition coil costing almost $250, im very disinclined to keep spending all my money on this black hole. any suggestions?

It's a 23 year old vehicle - coils, CV joints, batteries, alternators don't last forever... The coil failure is not common - I expect you got a bad one.
