what book is that?... and what do you mean you call it an audi 200? doesnt the 200 stop at 1985? its a 5000. or are they pretty much the same?

 

oh sh#t I posted the wrong pictures[:@] DO THE PICTURES LOOK LIKE YOUR ENGINE??, the 200 turbo finished in 1991 over here , other pictures are of the Audi 100 2.2 KAT and quattro engine code KZ and PX 1984 to 1991

 

yes the engine is almost the exact same. so it seems. what book is that?

 

I have never seen a 5000 over here but I do know of them and they are just badged different for other countries but same car

im glad it looks like your engine because it probably is and used in the states much longer than here with the 5000 badge

 

audi models 5000 and 4000 are predicestors to audi 200 and 100. then they droped 200 and put turbo engine into a 100.
but in some places there were only 200 and 100 while other places had only 5000 and 4000 and some had parallel. wierd.

 

so i just got a differnt knock sensor from a junkyard. and hopefully that will make the fault code go away... anyone have suggestions on what to remove to get it in there??
