Default 90 Audi coupe Quattro Coilover Fixing Bolts

Picked up a 1990 Audi coupe quattro a few weeks ago and im storing it in my garage until early spring? I think the car would greatly benefit from some coilovers. Been looking at 2bennett's vs. KW Variant 1 vs. H&R Monotube. Do the US coupe use M12 or M14 fixing bolts? I think its the M12 for US and M14 for euro but does any one know for sure? Also what is involves when fitting coilovers to the car and how long of a job is it. I always thought it was buy the kit and a camber kit and you were good to put them in, but some sites say you have to send in your OE housing for modification so im confused Forgive for my ignorance but I want to continue the car in the right direction so I need some info first. Any one who can shed some light on this would be greatly appreciated. Here are a few pics, and as you can see the car would really come together with a nice suspension. Thanks to anyone who can help.
