Question Ahh Windows!

Okay.. I recently purchased a 1990 V8 Quattro. The back windows have never worked.. the front ones work most of the time.. but sometimes they won't work and I just wait like 10 minutes and they'll roll down.

Well.. today the stopped working completly and my sunroof is open. I'm wondering if anyone experianced this problem or has any idea whats wrong with it?

Thanks!

ya i dont know but if you want your sunroof to close since it sounds like that stopped working as well i would say to pop the cover off of the button that activates the SR and find a flathead or some kind of slot that will allow you to manually crank that thing closed. That is normally what is standard emergency closing routine. good luck

Edit: sorry what i mean is not to pop the switch apart but pop off the panel that the switch is located on

The older window switches are notoriously bad- do a search and you'll fid info on how to fix or replace them.

As for the rears not working -- there is a button that disables them so you can stop kids from playing with them - Look at you manual!

Sunroof - It can get confused and remain open -- remove the cover at the switch and crank it into position.
