Hi Gang,
This may sound like a dumb question but, can the wrong replacement battery cause my 1990 V8 Quattro to have starting issues?
Please help!!!

Yes, if the replacment battery rating is way weaker that the OEM one. like half the value.
or replacment is old already.
other that that, even a motocycle battery when fully charged can kick start the engine, just would be dead the second later.
