Default cruise control

I am looking for the part which controls the cruise control in 92 audi 100q. The pressure leaks on the original, and my mechanic has not found a used part he feels comfortable with.

Default RE:TEMP GUAGE

MY TEMP GUAGE [92 100Q] HAS STARTED RESTING AT THE TOP OF THE THREE LINES ON LEFT, AND DOES NOT COME UP TO THE FIRST BOLD LINE. OUTSIDE TEMPS HAVE RANGED +10 DEG. TO +55 DEG FARNH.
IS THIS A PROBLEM. NONE OF THE LIGHTS HAVE COME ON.

As for the temp guage, this sounds normal from what I've seen. I just got a '92 100 S and did a coolant/radiator flush and have been keeping a pretty close eye on my temp guage since. From what you described this is where mine seems to reside during normal operating temps. I'm in CA in a very moderate climate, but normally once the engine reachs operating temperature it should be fairly consistent regardless of outside ambient temp as long as the cooling system is operating correctly. I'm new to the car though myself, and can only confirm that this is where I've notice my temp guage needle sit. I haven't seen it rise to the first bold line which I'd say is at around one o'clock on the guage. It sits more at about 10/11 o'clock.

For used parts, I saw another post recommending www.shokan.com. I haven't ordered from them yet, but plan to place an order this week. I spoke to them on the phone Friday and they were very friendly and helpful and seem to know Audi's very well. They answered a couple of questions I had about parts and my model. I've found better prices elsewhere, but have already had problems with getting bad parts from another online site. Anyways, since I saw a few people recommend them and they have a large selection of available used parts I thought I'd try Shokan out. I'll post later to let everyone know how my experience went.
