Hello all, Just purchased '90 Audi 200 Turbo & need some direction
As title states,
I'm the new owner of a 1990 Audi 200 turbo 5cyl auto. I picked the car up for fairly cheap and I'm looking to restore the car back to 100% working order. Once that is complete I plan on perhaps some basic suspension mods but keeping the vehicle otherwise stock for cheap DD use.
Can anyone point me to some resources for these cars?
I will need to be replacing the bumper shortly. I was told there are several bumpers that are compatible with my car.
The original factory turbo will most likely need replaced or rebuilt. I'm curious to know what turbo is exactly on this car, and what all turbo's are a bolt-on affair for upgrades (nothing crazy).
Anything I should look out for in particular? Any easy upgrades or severe bottlenecks in performance I should take care of right away? I wouldn't mind some subtle upgrades such as a more free-flowing exhaust, hardpipes, intake, etc. That said, good resources for finding such parts.
Thanks everyone. I'm sure I will be on here a lot researching more about my new toy.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice you could provide.
Cheers,
-JD

I had 350 K on an Audi 200 QT before giving up.. Never touched the motor or turbo - did a littl eto the suspension and brakes, so you can get a lot of miles out one if you take care of it. try Forcr Five in Concord NH for used and new Audi parts. They alway treated me good!
