i decided today was a good day to take my new 87 5kt to my college campus so i can get it ready for inspection. I spent about 2 hours playing with the headlights to see what i need to buy/do to relay them properly, macguyvered the headlight switch so my headlights would actually turn on(the switch is worn, and the contacts werent making contact, but i glued a piece of plastic in on top of the lever, so they work perfectly now...), jumped it off of my other car and vroom it lived, dumped some oil and trans stop leak in and away we went. On my way to my campus i rediscovered the wonderful torque on pull this car has along with the rust on the rotors... but the car ran absolutely amazingly. It was an interesting experience to drive the car again after about 2 years(it was previously my girlfriends car) and i learned that i have a LOT of work to do to it...
