1988 Audi 90 5 cyl

How is the best way to drain the radiator to change the antifreeze and water. Can not find an easy place to drain the cooling system.
Can anyone help?

theres a plug on radiator and plug on behind the block.
to make full change you have to unscrew both of them to drain complitly.
but even then, you still should have about half a quart (500ml) inside left.
so if you change you might want to flush or change to like same as you had or all color antifrieze.

My old 4000S had a drain plug, my current 100Q doesn't, I think that the Audi engineers forgot to put one in. According to my Bentley manual I am supposed to remove the clamp from the hose that goes from the water pump to the steel tube that leads to the heater core and drain it. German engineering at its finest!
