question about the 4000 Quattro
Hey all, I'm new to audi's, and euros in general, but I've been seeing a lot of these cars pop up on c/l for extremely cheap, but in somewhat good condition. I've been loking for a car that would be a good daily driver, but at the same time, be upgradeable to the point where it'll go pretty damn fast, corner well, etc. The question I'm asking is, what kind of aftermarket support do you see for the 4000Q? I did a quick search, and found a few minor suspension upgrades like springs/struts, and some small power adders such as chipping the ECM, but I'm looking for something a scosche more hardcore than that. Thank you for your time.

RE: question about the 4000 Quattro
Check out 034 motosports. If you want power you will need to swap to a turbo engine or to 5000.
I dont know about sirious suspension mods, I would guess the standard type around, as lowering a bit, and putting a wider rims and stronger sway bar.
If you want a dayily driver, then just leave the car alone, and just drive with OEM stuff, maybe a new radio.

RE: question about the 4000 Quattro
haha to me a daily driver means a car that gets 20+ mpg, and doesnt have to run on 105 octane. I modify all of my cars, and I always do thins right, in that, I dont just go for mild suspension, and an exhaust or intake. haha. I'll look into swapping the turbo engine. luckily, I have a bunch of ittle tricks to make a boosted engine faster without spending a rediculous amount of money. I'll try and source some coilovers that'll fit in these cars, but I'm not afraid to modify the cars to make something fit. thanks for the prompt reply, and I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay here.
