Tire Size Change
I have a '93 audi 90 that has aftermarket rims on it. The original size is 15x6. I was hoping to be able to put the rims off of either a 100 model or a set of 14s that I have from a 4000cs. I took it to a tire place and was told that they didn't sit right. Am i now stuck with having to buy the exact same size as original or can I use the 15s from the 100 or 14s from the 4000cs.
This is driving me nuts because I am stuck with the aftermarket rims for the coming winter.

RE: Tire Size Change
use this
Search for Tire size calculator
put your stock size in, and compare to new one.
make sure that you clear all you have to clear, and offset if not too big, else you gona screw up your suspension geometry.
Yes, its that easy to screw, thats why I still use stock rims, did calculations, not beneficial enough for me to get bigger phater rims

RE: Tire Size Change
The bolt pattern for your car is a 4x108 that was standard on all B3 and B4 cars from 1988-1998. There are BBS mesh wheels in 14" and 15", Ronal 10 spokes in 15" and 16" and the Audi 6 spokes in 15". Try these w/ 195 or 205/60/15 tires on a 15" rim or 195 or 205/50/16 on a 16' rim. Stay away from the 14" rims they just look to small. Go to ebay and do search on "Audi 4x108", this should give you some good stuff.
