Default Torque specs for 90???

Got the front struts that I replaced on my b4 90 and don't know the top strut mount nut torque spec....anyone care to tell me please??? I've gone from snug to really tight and it still ends up loosening....am I doing something wrong or should I be using the blue locktite?

Slotted nut is 50nm or 37 ft-lbs. I think I remember that they had blue locktite on them but not sure. Self locking nut (the one on top) is 60nm or 44 ft-lbs. Per Bentley's. You must use the allen wrench and the socket with the slot for the allen wrench. The slotted nut tool is a must have also. Although I made both of those, I wish I had just bought them. I recommend that you buy them - ebay is easy. Torque wrench is handy, too. One trick for the strut insert caps - after you think you have them tight enough and after they are installed. With the weight of the car on the wheels, reach through the springs with a BIG channel lock and grab the caps and tighten them more. You wil be amazed that you can torque them tighter. Otherwise you may get a thunking sound going over bumps from a very small movement of the strut inserts.
