Hi everyone I'm a mechanic 25 years here in Dublin, have a customer A3 1 9 tdi BKC engine.
non start, was driving and stopped managed to get started again and nursed home with practically no power other than about 1200rpm.
next day no start.
Delphi diagnostics only show 1 fault code, egr valve.
Upon pulling glow plugs out they're bone dry, and turning over it's not injecting.
Lift pump in tank is good and strong, replaced the main pump and still the same.
when turning over I can get an rom reading from diagnostics so dont think its crank sensor related, timing is not out.
Any VW mechanics any ideas? Pulling my hair out here lol

Sounds like a fuel filter between pump and injectors?
