APR Stage 1+ or Stage 2+?
I have a 2004 A4 quattro 6MT and I was thinking about upgrading to either APR stage 1+ or going ahead and getting a high flow cat so I would be Stage 2+ with the injectors. But I wasnt sure if it would be necessary to get a FMIC if I go with the Stage 2+? BTW I was planning on getting a forge 007 DV also either way.

If you go with a stage II tune, I would definitely upgrade the minimum:
Diverter Valve, Compressor Inlet Hose and Throttle Body Hose. Your stock intercooler will start to leak after a while and you may run into some other issues down the road. If you want to get a reasonably price custom tune, look into Eurocharged Performance. Jerry does awesome work and he has dealers all over the country.

I am in NJ if needed.

apr stgI, II, III?
My first reasonably priced mod was the chip mod because it offered the most bang for the buck while going easy on the engine. I went ahead and got the extra $ and did the stg3 and got the 225hp injectors from ebay to save almost $200. This made a big difference and gave the car the power it should have had stock. If you got the money to get an eliminator kit from www.eurocodetuning.com thats what I would do because it comes with the APR turbo manifold and cat-delete which other sites dont offer in their packages, but then you would need a FMIC, and other components and it adds up. Anyways for the price I'd def. go with stg3. Its a cheap way to go to 238HP for around $900. To get better performance with this you should def. get an APR inlet hose($130?), forge 007diverter(ive got one ill sell you because i went with the hybrid DV/bov which blows off 10%), an air intake is a must to let that turbo suck that air in better & finally an exhaust which will help alot too.
