Default CAI caused CEL, question about LTFT and STFT

Hi, I have a 2000 TT Quattro. I recently put an Injen Cold Air Intake on my car, and would like to keep it on if possible, and it's causing the CEL to go off. I checked the code with an OBD2 reader (I don't have a VAG COM), it is P1136, long term fuel trim, bank 1 system too lean. So I cleaned the MAF and unplugged the battery for awhile hoping that the car would cope with the extra air after relearning conditions. The CEL came on again after a day or two. Here's what the freeze frame data said:

fuel system 1: CL
fuel system 2: NA (makes sense cause its an inline 4 cylinder engine)
Calc LOAD (%): 0.7
ECT (Fahrenheit): 161
STFT B1 (%): 25.0
LTFT B1 (%): 7.0
Eng. RPM: 800
Speed (mph): 0

My question is, what are acceptable LTFT and STFT values? Can my computer compensate enough for the extra air or is the engine running unreasonably lean which will cause engine damage. Can I get the CEL to go away with the engine running right?

I should also note that I haven't noticed any change in performance or noticed the engine running rough at all, seems to be running great to me.
