Default What caused this to happen...

Sunday I jumped my coworker's GTP at work...he tried starting it before it gave enough juice to his battery...and my lights obviously got real dim...but after 20 or 30 more seconds he started right up and after disconnecting everything I got back in my car to find that every gear on my car was lit up...You know how "D" gets highlighted...they were all highlighted and it felt like my turbo was turned off and my car was very slow on acceleration and when dropped into gear it was very "hard" sounding...I turned the car off and on and it was gone...but:

What could have caused it?

And is it safe to drive if this should happen and not be resolved by turning the car off and on?

Thanks...

Default RE: What caused this to happen...

Most likely it was a fault stored in many control units for low voltage

This happens when there is less than 9 volts

And it went away because it didnt happen again and was determined sporadic
