Can anyone help with OBD II codes 1198/1199?

Default Can anyone help with OBD II codes 1198/1199?

my car has just failed inspection on engine management light.... these are apparently manufacturer specific codes.....

help please!

thats easy man check your fuel pump relay fuse it should be fuse 4.

thanks dude the other one was P0140 which is an O2 sensor, but how do I work out which bank/sensor is which?

For most of those look for a vacuum leak. They can often times fool the computer into thinking it needs to add fuel. It also could be a bad air flow sensor. Start buy replacing the bad temp sensor and then look at leaks.
