Default EPC light and throwing P2294

On my way to work the epc came on and the car started limping. I didn’t notice anything odd while driving prior to this happening. So I pulled over and used my little scanner I keep in the car to check for a code. The P2294 code popped up for fuel pressure regulator sensor. I turned the car off and made sure all connections to sensors were solid and got back in the car to try driving again. EPC never came back on for the remainder of my 15 minute drive. Any idea what’s going on? Should I take it in? Or should I just leave it alone if it doesn’t come back on?
