Default Fill up my tank with Leaded gas by mistake

I got a 2001 A4 1.8T...today I filled up half of my fuel tank with LEADED Ultra 94 by mistake, I know I should neverdo that....however it was a mistake....what should I do now, please help me and give me some advise.

How did you manage to find leaded gas? Were you at the track?

Have your tank drained and fuel filter replaced....

You also might want to have your injectors flushed.....

Hope you didn't do any serious damage... I just don't know about that....

I'd PM some of the Tech's to get there 2 cents.

the best bet is probably having a mechanic shop look at it and see if there was any damage but ya i would take the gas can off drain it clean it and also get a new filter and put som injector fluid in there and then you should be alright. hopefully nothing happened good luck

The only damage could be done to O2 sensors and cats. They get coated by led and become non- functional. The ECU gets no input, might even not be able to start the engine.
Even small ammount of led is deadly for O2 sensors and cats.

There is no harm on injectors, or any other parts. Led is easy on valves and seats.
