Hi. Please help.
Can anyone tell me what the delivery rate and pressure requirements are for Audi A4 B7 3.0 TDI manual (2005) as after 4 months of being at Steves Auto Clinic in Jo'burg, who presumably are able to repair diesel related problems............. we now find ourselves in a situation that the particular pump required is not available in South Africa. I have manually tested the pump in an external environment and found it to deliver excessive fuel and only on restricting the flow does the release valve come into operation. I am thinking that there is possibly no problem with this pump.
We were informed that the A4 2.0 lift pump would be able to be used. Yet, after installation the engine management system light comes on as well as the coil light (glow plug).
We are in a desperate situation and would really appreciate any advice. please post any suggestions...............
