I recently leased a 2009 A4, picked up Memorial Day weekend. Today the MIL came on so I made an appointment later this week to have it looked at.

I've googled for these issues, but have not come across any scenarios like mine- the car only has 1,700 miles on it!

It's my first Audi and I'm a bit disappointed this is happening already! Is this a freak thing? Or can I expect more problems?

I find that pretty odd, but depending on where you are located, you can take your car to Advanced Auto parts and ask them to scan your car for the error code your computer is showing(reason for why the MIL is on)-its free to get it scanned there. Just write down the code and search for it online, it'll save you money, because they can charge like 50-or more just to read the code, and if you already know what it is, you can just tell them what to fix if it is anything at all.
