Default tiptronic reversed shift movement

question for someone expert: I have noticed that the tiptronic stick shift on my 2000 A4 v6 is actually opposite of what it should be. I explain: In any racing or stock sequential transmission car, upshifting is alwas towards the back and downshifting is done by moving the selector to the front of the car. audi has done this inversely,. if you notice, upsifting is forward (opposite to what it should be on any sequential transmission). so i want to reverse this. is there a way to swap some cables in the gear selector or somewere so i can reverse this and upsift moving the selector back and downsift moving the selector forward?

I have the wiring diags in the ELSA system teck manual. thanks for the advice!
