Default Loaners from a dealer

I bought my A4 3.0 through a wholesaler; car is in great shape and I love it. It's in the shop right now for routine maintenance, though I was surprised to learn that if I didn't buy my car through the dealer that I'd have to rent a car the day it was being serviced; they wouldn't provide a loaner. Was anyone aware of this... what's up with the free maintenance/free loaner while the car is under warranty? I thought that if the car was still under warranty and Audi certified that you stood to receive the same perks as those who bought new (or used through the dealer). My first A4 was purchased used, but through the dealer.

It's because they are cheap. It shouldn't matter if you bought it there or not. They are still getting thousands of dollars from you. You should be able to get a loaner. The service at Audi is really terrible. When mine was in for warranty work, it was a nightmare. The loaners in Scottsdale were VW Jettas!! LOL. Cheap.
