For those that used this how close did they look to new? I had to rePlace one and now my lights don't match on my d3 A8 thinking of using this product but a little nervous, don't want to mess up a $900 headlight. Thanks

I used it (#39014, lens renewal kit) to get out some deep scratches in one lens and to polish the other. worked pretty well, but it is scary as you're doing "damage" to fix damage.

here's a couple of pics.

not the best comparos, but you get the idea. If you do, follow the directions to the letter to avoid 'burning' the plastic lenses.

I used it before at work...The 3M kit that comes with the air tool for the sanding and waxing. Headlights were a mess. First round, I was a little nervous about it and didn't do it enough. Did it 3 consecutive times until I was satisfied, probably could have used one more pass, but ran out of time. Definitely works like a charm though.

Default Sealant

What kind of sealant should I use after the headlight restoration is done?
