Default Detailing a Brand New S5

In the process of purchasing a 2010 S5, most likely the Ibis White or Meteor Gray Pearl.

Anyhow, what is the best way to protect the paint/clearcoat on a 'Brand New' vehicle? Sealant and Wax only, Wax only, etc. I want to preserve the gloss factor and maintain that mirror finish as much as possible (and of course protect the paint).

Sorry if this is a silly question, I'm just used to detailing used vehicles. Thanks in advance.

ABSOLUTE BEST?

AFAIK, the same methods you use for detailing an older car work with new cars.
Wash
Claybar
Wax&seal

repeat as often as vanity demands and your wallet allows

So I wouldn't need to do a polish right since the car is practically brand new and assuming it has no swirls?

This is what I would currently use on a used vehicle with minor swirls (and again I'm not a detailing guru):
- Meguiars car wash gel, mitts, and microfiber towels
- Mequiars Smooth Surface clay kit
- Mequiars Deep Crystal system polish
- Meguiars NXT 2.0 TechWax

I would probably omit the system polish since the car wouldn't have any swirls. Would I need to top the NXT with a sealant as well? I read that with NXT, topping is not needed sinec NXT is 'supposedly' really good stuff already.

Im in San Diego, CA and Meguiars and Eagle One products are the majority brands at most auto stores. Anyone know where I can purchase better brands? And what brands are better? Klasse, etc.

Thanks
