I recently bought my wife an A4 and I noticed that the chrome trim around the trunk is starting to corrode! The car is pretty new and shouldnt be having issues like this. Anyone know how to clean it up so it doesnt get worse? It just looks terrible on a new car such as this one.

Hey! I bought my trim tape at BMW Shadowline Trim | Buy Shadowline Trim Tape and it works great! I have had mine on for two years and it still looks like new and was really easy to put on! I think they also have a vinyl that can cover up the chrome as well.

 

Do you have any pictures. It might have a coating that is coming off. If the car is new I would see if Audi would replace the trim under warranty.
