how to clean up interior scratches on plastic???
Hello....I've recently purchased a 2008 A6 with the S-line interior package.
This weekends plan is to clean up the interior and engine bay. Next weekend is cleaning up the paint.
The previous owner must have kept stuff on the passenger side floor boards and scraped the glove box lid pulling them out. There are several scratches (not real deep..but not just scuffs either) on the lid. The plastic scuff plate for the trunk was in bad shape and the dealer cleaned that up. He said they dyed the piece. It looks OK but it is a piece by itself and not something you actually see. Not sure I want to go that route with the interior.
Any suggestions on how to clean those up? I'm going to look for some 303 aerospace protectant on the way home and see if that helps but I'm thinking more will be required.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
