Default How to remove tar from my car?

Tar and grime can cause huge amounts of damage to a car paint and be nearly impossible to remove. I was trying to remove some road tar with light rubbing compound from the bottom of the doors and fenders, but had no luck. Removing tar and grime is not a fun or easy task. Does anyone know of any products that will remove tar from my car?
Well, I am going to our local Walmart today's eve and hope to find some good stuff there.

Any recommendation..!

I don't know about tar, but I've used Simple Green before to remove black grease. The only thing is that you need to polish or wax the area that you cleaned up in order to get the shine back. After that it should look clean and shiny again.
