Default Leather discolouration

I have an A4 with light grey Milano leather which has stubborn dried water stains which occurred whilst I was overseas. I have tried leather cleaner, soft soap and rubbing alcohol, none of which are making any difference. It almost seems like the discoloration is coming from a chemical leaching out of the seat padding underneath the leather skin. Anyone come across this problem and know how to fix it? Thanks
