I just bought an black 2010 A4 quattro premium plus. Are the genuine Audi car care products the best stuff to use for cleaning? Any suggestions on brands of wax, polishes, glazes, etc would be much appreciated...whats the story with P21S..? thanks

I use autogeek.net for my detailing needs. Everything on there has met their standards so it will all work great. They also have how to articles for many cleaning tasks.

Yes, it's one of the best consumer polishes out there IMO, but there's no point in paying more just for the Audi bottle.

The above have mentioned some good brands so I won't add to that. Instead I will tell you that even if you have the good brands it will all come down to your work effort and prep. Afterall, the product can only do so much.

Having the right tools and knowing how to use them is essential to having a great paint. The "Audi Polishes" are useless and I wouldn't bother getting them. Trying to correct paint swirls by hand can be a tedious and overwhelming task which is why if you have the money invest in a DA Polisher to correct paint. Once the paint is corrected you can buy a decent wax and it will make the paint look that much better.

I had posted a guide to maintaining your finish which gives a quick skinny, it can be found here.

can you just post what the deluxe kit is. I am familiar with adams polishes and they are usually a good investment for the beginners. Very safe etc...$500 seems like a lot though so if you copy and paste the package I can tell you the things that you likely won't need in that package...
