as stated, i have an 01 a6 with the bose system. i have my subs/amp lying around from my old car and i was looking into options for my a6. if i wanted to keep my stock HU but install my subs and an aux input for my zune, what all would be necessary?

to connect my zune but i would still need 2 more RCA jacks for my amp, correct?

now on the other hand, i have a single DIN aftermarket radio, also from my previous car. i believe that all i would need to do the job would be the dash kit, the power antenna, and the wiring harness. is there anything else that is needed/recommended?

i am still undecided on which option i would rather do, but i wanted to get my information straight before dropping money on things

 

so i've decided that i'm going to install the aftermarket headunit

i'm running my power cable today but i still am unsure of how to wire everything up

do i just run my RCA's to the back of my head unit? or do i have to tap into the bose wiring?
