2007 Q7 with water issue under left front seat
Hello all,
I had my Q7 24hrs (bought it used) then all of a sudden it would no longer start.
after looking things over it was determined that water got under the left front seat causing damage to the Battery Voltage Module and the plus was badly corroded. So I purchased a used one on Ebay and replaced the plug.
Now the truck starts but runs like crap (on 3 cyl.) and I has no response from the gas pedal.
Can someone point me in the right direction because I am being told I need an ECM and that is a major cost and trip to the dealer to have everything reprogrammed.
Is it possible that my Battery Voltage Module needs to be reprogrammed ? I read somewhere that the battery information is entered in this and if I bought it used it could still be carrying the info of previous truck.
Let me know what you all think please?
