97 A6 Auxiliary Jack
Hey all,
I have a stock stereo and just want to install an auxiliary jack to plug my ipod into. My tape deck is broken, so I can't just use the tape converter. I've heard that many cars after 96 have an auxiliary jack in the back, and you just have to plug in a wire and bring it around to the front. I've also considered taking the tape setting and rewiring it to be an auxiliary setting. I'm a little hesitant to just pull the stereo out since it doesn't look easy. A 98 Volvo we had had little handles that allowed you to pull it out easily. Nothing like that on this. What should I use, a screwdriver to pry it out?
Has anyone tried installing an auxiliary jack? Any ideas, or resources?
Thanks!
