Hi recently changing discs pads on my a3 turbo and when finished went to start car but was dead flat.tried jumping and charging but battery was knackered.put a new battery on but the car still wont start.fuel and spark no probs.car just turns.now noticed the clocks are staying lit up even when no key in and car locked.had full vagcom done and all faults cleared.been told might be the imobilisor on the clocks any advice would be gratefull.thanks.
