I've got a 99 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro manual, the battery wont hold a charge over night. Once I jump it, it fires up without an issue and will run as long as it stays on, with no other issues. Had my battery and alternator both checked at AutoZone and O'Reillys, both said no issues. I had them try pulling codes also, but theres none. No lights on my dashboard either to help narrow things down. Im at a lose as to whats going on with it.

Do I have something staying on? or is there more of a chance its a short?

It was also out of the blue when it happened, no warning signs. One day its fine the next dead.

did you try another battery, you will only get a battery light if the alternator is bad, I know you said you got it checked but maybe they didn't do a good job, my experience says its a bad battery, anyone else chime in if they think otherwise
