I am wondering if anyone has any of the alipine decks with the ipod intergration either the 7.0 monitor or any of the other decks and what they thought about them is there a ease of use with the ipod?

 

Recently I've installed the IVA-W200 and PXA-H701 processor in my girlfriend's car (not an Audi :P), and we love it. The full-speed conneciton's awesome, and the flexibility of these units is perfect for her IASCA needs.

 

I just had an Alpine IVA-W200 installed and it's great! The Ipod integration works flawlessly. The tilt comes in real handy when the sun is glaring from the rear and the touch screen is easy to navigate. Navigation, Blue tooth and satellite capable

How difficult was it to add the 6.5" screen? Did you do it yourself? If so what did you use for trim?

 

I didn't do the install myself, but I do know there is a trim kit specifically for this going in an A4

 

The fullspeed cable on any of the alpine decks that run it works freakin awesome! byfar the best piece on the market, along with ease of use. i have installed them on normal decks as well as the double din and single din TV decks, and they work great!
