Default Another ESP light problem

Hi everyone,

I am really hoping someone can help me out with this as I can't find the answer on other threads.
I have a 2004 A4 1.8l and the dam ESP light keeps coming on. It first came on when I was sat in traffic not really moving. The ESP light cam on and wouldn't go off!
After I finally got moving it went away again. I thought it was weird but maybe just due to the heat of the day and traffic, so didn't think much of it. Then I stopped to get gas and when I started the car again the ESP light came back on within a minute or so! This time it stayed on for about 10 mins and the engine management light came on too! Okay i thought must be a bigger issue than i thought, so went home and turned car off. Went back and started car in the morning and the esp light and engine management lights stayed off.
This has continued to happen every time I drive the car for the last week. It seems to be fine while the car is moving but as soon as it stops the ESP light comes on and eventually the engine management light will also come on.
Has anyone else come across this problem before, how do I fix it! I don't seem to be losing any performance from the car and the fuel economy is also good. I think it may be something to do with the heat!
Please help its driving me mad!

Turns out it was the MAF. Ordered a new one and replaced it in 15 mins.
Thanks
