I'd eventually like to get a nice sound system in my 03 A6. I recently discovered that I don't have the Bose system (bought used, wasn't sure if there were Bose labels on the speakers) so it will be much easier to put a system in.

I'd just like to see what is available in the way of kits to adapt an aftermarket stereo into the dash. It would be nice, rather unlikely, to find a wood fit kit.

Consider yourself lucky... i've got the Bose and it's a pain in the *** to upgrade! Good luck with the upgrade!

Thanks for the pix. Is that an A4? I have the double din size radio/cd/cassette in my car. It looks as if you have a single din. Looks like a nice system you have going there!

I'll have to wait a while to do mine.

First comes tint, then a move to Colorado, so cheap wheels and all season tires!
