Aftermarket DV installed, is it working?
Ok, so I installed an aftermarket diverter valve set onto my car to go with the APR chip. Before I replaced the valve, I could hear a little "PSST " noise as I shifted, which I assumed was the valve blowing off. I changed to an aftermarket valve (Stratomsphere I think), and cranked it to the full 1.0 bar, and now I can't hear any blow-off.
I am worried that the valve is not actuatting properly, but the car is running fine. Are aftermarket ones just quiter sometimes? It was a lot larger, metal, and more substancial.

Are you sure the ones you replaced were dv's not blow off valves. Also, that sound could have been a bad rubber diaphram leaking which is bad and now you are getting a complete seal. Don't worry your fine if its running well, however I do remember those being louder than other dv's and run mostly by a4 folk.
I know they aren't supposed to make noise, I was just a little worried because the stock valves made noise, and then I switched, and the noise went away. I just wanted to make sure it was running right.
