Audi TT Firewall?
After reading several posts I found a large (1.5-in; approx) round gromet above the gas pedal (2010) - no kidding. Also there is a secondary Fire wall in front of main fire wall - found a large "grand piano" shape gromet infront of the Heater intake.
Loomed all detector wires - used Escorts gromets through the sec-wall piano gromet - (cut 3 x 7/16 holes), used a Can-Tire PVC gromet / Loom to seal the main fire wall to allow laser / radar cable entry in to cab.
Placed the laser "eyes" in the fog light covers (Scary cutting the plastic and filing for perfect fit) - used supplied mounts to attach to aluminum bumper mounts (1/8 bit on right angel driver) - or self tap screw - used mounts to extend eyes through fog covers
Placed the radar "eye" under the Audi logo in the front grill - amazing fit - no real mods required. (No front plate) - took the plate cover off - inserted radar - trimmed plate cover and re-installed.
Starting on the interior today - pulled lower dash - placing ci interface above clutch, pulled entertaiment cover - will attempt 9500ci display next to MMI display and control in ashtray
GPS on back sill; - Will mount Rear lasar into Rieger rear valence - mesh cut out and soild backing for whole mesh area
All Audi parts cut are easily replaced (Fog covers, gromet, entertainment cover) & Rieger rear valance mesh
